Junior Training

We provide a fun, safe environment for young players to enjoy the sport of Hockey. Being active, making friends and learning new skills are just some of the many benefits of participating in this great team sport. Our aim is to be as accessible as possible to all between the ages of 5 and 16.

Qualified coaches lead the sessions delivering versions of the game specifically designed for younger age groups that are exciting and engaging. Training is mixed with boys and girls and support is at hand from our team of helpers.

We are currently on our summer break but normally training for juniors takes place every Tuesday or Wednesday in school term time. We are busy planning next season's training so keep visiting here for the latest. We will be starting back 6th September 2022 and we cannot wait to welcome players.

Location. At our home astro, just off A10 and Downham Road. (Enter the site of the Cinema. Access to the club is via the car park.)

New Members: Everyone is very welcome to give it a go! You can come and give it a go for the first three week for free. Equipment is available to borrow so no need to buy anything. All you need to bring are a pair of trainers, some shin pads and lots of energy.

Kit range
We have a range of kit for junior players to purchase. We have tried to make available products at the best prices. All can be personalised with initials and name on the back of shirts. For U14s and U16s progressing into the adult teams, you can purchase the adult range. This is provided by Mr Cricket Hockey. Please ask one of the coaches or your team captain for the password.
