It was another brilliant and successful tournament with 14 teams taking part from St Neots, Cambridge South, Cambridge City, Winnington, Old Suttonians and Ely City Hockey Clubs and one Stag Do team!

At the end of the two days of play, teams Mane Event and Ely Swingers battled it out for the Shield and after another draw they decided rather than deciding the winner with penalty flicks and in good Tournament spirit that EVERYONE is a Winner so shared the victory and became Joint Shield Winners.

In the battle for the Plate, The Ball Slappers and Old Suttonians also decided to share victory rather than go to penalty flicks and became Joint Plate Winners.

We would like to say a massive thank you to all the teams that attended this weekend and made it such a great tour- most definitely our best yet (we didn’t think we could top last year but we certainly did) ❤️?

We need to give Special Thanks to all the Captains who organised teams, Umpires, The Bar staff, our BBQ queens, Jack from JWL Events, Ginos Pizza, Grumpy bakes, Jennifer at Cheeky Moo Face Painting, Pedro from Pedros Personal Training and Treatment, Chloe from CW Vet Physio, Raj from Click Pick Photobooths and all the volunteers and many, many more who helped make this weekend a success.
